Discover Mozambique Like A True Adventurer!
Imagine a tropical paradise with 2500km of breathtakingly beautiful virgin coastline, islands and white sandy beaches surrounded by thick jungles and you have imagine Mozambique. Now imagine exploring 4×4 mozambique and you have imagined heaven! Mozambique a country situated on the east side of southern Africa, is both a tropical paradise as well as an African jungle with something to offer the most adventurous at heart or peaceful, sloth like tourist. Drive through lush forests and see all the wildlife that Mozambique has to offer before parking your 4×4 at one of the coastal towns, and take a boat cruise to discover one of the many offshore islands. The islands are visited by so many who grace these shores for a bout of snorkelling, diving or fishing. Mozambique has beautiful reefs and so a day spent diving or snorkelling will have you swimming with tropical fish, turtles and even dolphins in the warm Indian ocean.
Touring 4×4 mozambique is truly the best way to discover this gem of a country. The southern part of Mozambique has better roads and transport links near the capital Maputo. Driving northward the terrain becomes more rugged as one departs from the capital, as buildings and main roads give way to subtropical jungle and dirt roads. Touring Mozambique in a 4×4 is the only way to discover all that this paradise has to offer. And a true adventurer would not do it any other way. In the northern part of Mozambique is where you will find more secluded beaches. Lay in a hammock under a palm tree as calm aqua marine waters lap the white sandy beaches, lulling even the most restless soul into a peaceful slumber. Around the areas of Inhambane and Tofo, you will find beaches so secluded and terrain so rugged that the beaches can only be accessed by 4×4.
And when lazing around gets too much for you, why not take a safari in the wilds of Gorongosa National Park. Once at the Gorongosa National Park arrange to take a tour with a wildlife guide and do a hike up the Mt. Gorongosa. There are parts of Mozambique which are mostly unexplored by the average sun seeking, beach lazing tourists. To the north of Nampula, Beira and Quelimane is where you will find historic towns, melting pots of Arabic and Swahili cultures, the two cultures having joined in the common interest of trade.
If you would like to see remnants of the old Portuguese colonialism then take a drive up to the picturesque Ilha De Mozambique. This town has recently begun to be restored to its old former glory reminiscent of Lisbon. With cobbled stoned streets and old cathedrals you would be forgiven for mistakenly thinking you had arrived in Portugal.
Mozambique has something to offer for everyone. From the jungles and swamps to the beaches, reefs and islands, you will be left enchanted by the natural beauty of this place. And exploring it in a 4×4 mozambique gives you the freedom to stop and enjoy the sights and sounds at your leisure. In my personal opinion the rugged beauty of Mozambique can be experienced in no other way.
